£26,200 - £28,830 pa

4 DAY 40 HOUR WEEK Monday to Thursday (4 x 10 hour days)

Opportunities for pay rise in as little as 3 months following successful probation.

Opportunity for enhanced salary with friday & saturday overtime shifts @ 1.5x base salary

Recruiting up to 6 Fabricators/ welders to join existing staff of 130 delivering new build commercial vehicle work into the UK market for an international customer base. Building the next generation of PSVs including Hydrogen fuel cell and battery electric vehicles.

The role

• Creating piece parts and sub-assemblies for brand new bus chassis’ for the UK and overseas customers.
• Production style welding in a variety of positions
• Finishing and quality assurance of products
• Manual handling of products and equipment

Experience and qualifications

• 2+ years MIG/MAG/TIG experience
• Ability to work with and understand engineering drawings and weld notation
• Positive and self-motivated attitude to work
• Willing to learn new processes and procedures
• Good eye for detail and tenacity for fixing problems
